Saxony Lodge

Dear Visitor and Guest,

Welcome to the website of Saxony Lodge No.842. I have the honour to be Worshipful Master of this lodge and would like to briefly explain freemasonry and some of my aims for the coming year.

Freemasonry is one of the oldest fraternal societies and is open to men of all religions and faiths, who believe in a supreme being. Its members come from all walks of life and backgrounds. It teaches a series of moral lessons through Masonic ritual, which has been practiced virtually unchanged for hundreds of years. It installs in its members tolerance, equality and respect for others through its founding principles of brotherly love, relief and truth.

Freemasonry promotes friendship and responsible citizenship. It also seeks to reinforce thoughtfulness for others, the importance of personal integrity, and courtesy in society and kindness in the community.

As Freemasons we believe in helping those less fortunate than ourselves and look for the opportunity to assist those in need with the talents we possess.

The aim of Saxony Lodge is to bring together like minded individuals who feel they have something to give to society and through Masonic ritual can build together moral citizenship and build on the success of Saxony Lodge, which has been a pillar in the local community for over 50 years.
